We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring your information is used only to deliver the services you choose to use within ZARIKS.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the rights available to you.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Google Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your:

Email address
Profile name
Profile picture

This information is used solely to create and maintain your ZARIKS account.

2.2 Gmail Data (Read-Only Access)

With your explicit consent, ZARIKS uses gmail.readonly, a restricted Google scope, to identify creator-relevant messages in your inbox.

We access:

Sender details
Subject lines
Email content strictly for the purpose of identifying creator-relevant information

We do not:

Send emails
Modify, delete, or reorder emails
Access emails unrelated to creator-relevant activity
Allow human access to your Gmail data unless you explicitly request support or where legally required

How Gmail Data Is Used

Gmail messages are processed only to extract the information required to provide the features visible to you within ZARIKS. We do not use Gmail data for advertising or marketing.

Data Storage

ZARIKS does not permanently store the full content of your emails.

We may store:

Essential metadata derived from creator-relevant messages
Insights generated by our algorithms

Email bodies are processed in real time and are not saved permanently unless required to display a specific user-requested item. All Gmail access tokens are encrypted.

2.3 Instagram Data

If you provide your Instagram username, we may fetch publicly available metrics to personalize your experience. We do not request Instagram login or private access.

2.4 Optional Profile Information

If you choose to generate invoices or personalize your workspace, you may provide information such as:

Full name
Address
Tax details (PAN, GST number)
Bank information
Digital signature

This data is used only for the features you opt into.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

Identify creator-relevant messages from Gmail
Organize your workspace inside ZARIKS
Generate documents you request
Send service notifications
Improve overall platform reliability and performance
Maintain secure account access

We do not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

4. Compliance With Google API Services User Data Policy

ZARIKS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

This means:

We only use Gmail data to provide user-facing features
We do not transfer Gmail data except to secure service providers essential to operate ZARIKS
We do not allow human access unless allowed under Google's Limited Use permissions
We do not sell or share Gmail data

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit and stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure.

Security measures include:

OAuth 2.0 authentication
Encrypted access tokens
Role-based access
Strict access controls
Regular security reviews

We never store your Google password.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data.

We may share data with:

Service providers that support the operation of ZARIKS
Compliance authorities if required by law

We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you.

7. Data Retention

Gmail-derived metadata may be retained while your account remains active
Full email content is not permanently stored
Cached analysis expires automatically within 90 days
Upon account deletion request, all personal data, Gmail tokens, and cached data are permanently erased within 90 days.

8. Your Rights

You may:

Access your data
Correct inaccurate information
Export your data
Delete your account
Revoke Gmail access at any time

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
